This innovative programme is unique to Italy, in partnership with H-Farm, aims to train a selected group of motivated specialists in digital transformation to give life to a startup business or help a private or public business in Italy or abroad to go digital.
Entirely taught in English, it offers a high-level, engaging learning experience, with interdisciplinary training, with problem solving and team based teaching. There is a rich programme of extra-curricular activities, including soft skills, and close contact from the first year with startups and mentors within the boundaries of the digital world. Project work in companies is strongly weighted in the curriculum and you will make personal development in one of the companies in the Ca' Foscari and H-Farm network, also giving students the opportunity to see the best business ideas supported and financed.
The course will be held at the H-Campus at Ca' Tron, Roncade (near Treviso).
This programme, offered by Ca' Foscari in collaboration with H-Farm, is the first Digital Management course in Italy. It aims at training a selected group of professionals able to grasp the challenges of digital transformation.
The course is taught in English, and is characterised by its innovation of both contents and methods: the interdisciplinary academic lectures are integrated with direct field experimentation, teamwork and project work. Big Data, Marketing Analytics, Design Thinking, Lean Management and Information Security are just some of the fields of expertise that students will explore, contributing particularly to their employability for firms facing digital transformation challenges.
During the first year you will learn the fundamentals of digital management an economic and business basis. During the second year, you will develop technical and managerial skills in the fields of e-commerce, cyber-security and digital organisations of companies. In the third year students will participate in workshops on software project development, computer security and human centered design.
During the three years of the course, the students can take part in various initiatives to accelerate new ideas that animate H-Campus: hackathon, demo-night, a business plan competition. The students participate and have the opportunity to see how the best ideas are funded within the world of business.
The course is characterized by a balanced mix of lectures, team and individual projects, interactions and collaborations between the university and firms, as well as seminars led by founders and managers of major Italian companies.
Qualifications/expertise after completing the program
The employment and professional opportunities of high responsibility provided by the degree programmes are in:
- Technology, being able to manage projects and implement innovative solutions in the field of information computer systems and network technologies, taking into account commercial, socio-organizational and regulatory issues;
- Company-organization, being able to govern complex organizations which use modern technologies, such as in the area of e-commerce services;
- Economics and law, being in possession of legal and socio-communicative instruments to act according to design technologically innovative solutions in public and private institutions, as in the electronic Government sector.

B2 level is required.

In order to enrol in limited admission degree programmes students must first pass a selection procedure. Successful applicants will be included in a Selection List.
Admission to this degree programme is subjected to an entry test of mathematics in English. A certified knowledge of English language of a minimum level B2 is also required.

Specific requirements for Non-EU applicants: For NON-EU students residing outside Europe, the admission test will consist of participating in an interview with our Professors via Skype in order to verify the entry requirements and also the motivational and cultural skills acquired.
Students must have attended school for at least 12 years.
Students coming from countries where admission test to university is compulsory, must also submit a certificate attesting that they have passed it (i.e. Concurso Vestibular, Gao Kao minimum score 380, Pruebas de Selectividad, Veveosi Prosvasis, ecc.).
The admission to this BA is subjected to an entry test.
The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Italian.
You will need official translations along with verified copies of the original documents.
The official translation can be issued in the country of origin or in Italy - either by a local court of law, by court interpreters or by official translators. The entry qualification documents must also be legalised or bear the Apostille stamp certifying that the signature or seal on the document is genuine, and submitted in the original or certified copy.
You do not need to legalise the documents if:
- the qualification has been awarded by one of the signatory Countries of the European Convention of Brussels of 25 May, 1987 - Law 106/1990 (Belgium, Denmark, France, Ireland, Italy);
- the qualification has been awarded by a German institution, following the Italo-German Convention on the exemption from legalization of public documents - Law 176/1973.
You must bring the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.
